Apple quietly removed mat recognition from Swype keyboard in iOS 13 iOS 13 added a Swype keyboard that initially recognized any words. But after some time, Apple quietly removed support for the mat, as well as words related to murder and sex.

The same limitation applies to a regular keyboard with predictive typing.
