Final Cut Pro X

When installing FCPX 10.4.7, I get a message "Update Unavailable with this Apple ID… because it was bought by a different user… or the item was refunded or cancelled." I am the user that bought it and it hasn't been cancelled. What causes this?

When I invoke the update to FCPX 10.4.7 I get a pop-up message "Update Unavailable with This Apple ID… because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled".

I am the original purchaser and it has not been refunded or cancelled.

My Mac is from mid 2010, OS High Sierra 10.13.6, 8 GB memory and 1 T of storage.

I will understand if my Mac is too old for this update, but why am I getting this message?

Suddenly my fcpx rendering has slowed down to an extreme crawl. Is anyone else experiencing this? I added 16GB RAM to max out at 32GB, but that didn't help. Very frustrating!
