Mac mini

appstoreagent using too much memory

Recently I upgraded to Catalina. After few days my Mini Mac began to freeze and shutdown whenever it connects to the internet using WiFi or Ethernet. When it’s disconnected from the internet it works fine. Using activity monitor I found a process called Appstoreagent that after connecting to the internet it begins to consume memory in the Gigabytes order until it finally uses all my RAM freezing and shutting down my Mini Mac. Any help?
