Mac OS won’t reinstall on MacBook Air

I factory reset my Mac air without backing up, and now whenever I try to reinstall Mac OS, it always fails, the bar will complete but then a pop up will say an error has occurred, I tried going to disk utility and erasing Macintosh but it won’t erase saying a problem has occurred, and then I tried using first aid on the Macintosh and it still says an error has occurred, what do I do?????
