I keep getting messages that AOL is now blocking attempted logins by my system Mac mail. I have generated a device specific password, but when I go to:
Mail>Preferences>Accounts and select the specific account > Server settings tab, All the SUPPORT ARTICLES tell you, as I've been able to do in the past, to enter the password in the password field, BUT, THERE IS NO LONGER A Password FIELD!!!
HELP!!! There is ONLY an "outgoing mail account" dropdown box which shows my desired AOL address account as "(offline)" but NO PLACE to indicate the Password and restore access to the aol account in my Mail program!!!!!! I'm able to log in to webmail, but that's NOT a solution for me…
Help will be greatly appreciated! Please forgive me if this thread is SOMEWHERE already, but all the support articles and threads I've opened and read tell me to do what I've already tried, but without there being the indicated "password" field, so no progress on my issue…
