Issue with MacBook Air 2018 not waking properly from sleep

Hi,

I'm running Catalina 10.15.3 and have a curious issue with my MacBook Air 2018.

When disconnected from the charger (i.e. running on battery), I will often open the screen after a few hours of non-use and find it does not turn on automatically. If I press the power/Touch ID button it will come on after a few moments and display the Apple logo, and shortly after that show my sign-in screen.

Other times it starts up fine as I open the screen and I just use TouchID to log in.

Anyone got any ideas? I've tries resetting the PRAM and also the SMC, but still does the same thing quite often (usually overnight).
