Migrate Music to new MacBook

I have a new MacBook Air which for reasons I won't bore you with, I wanted to set up as a new MacBook without using any migration tools. All is well and the documents etc. that I wanted to transfer from my old MacBook are sorted.

This just leaves all of my music in Music on the old MacBook (running latest Catalina). How can I export all of my music files, playlists etc. from Music on the old MacBook to the new? I have tried home sharing but the crucial "import" button when I get to the end of the instructions remains greyed out.

I don't want to have to manually import everything from scratch (all of my music files are consolidated into the Media folder on my old MacBook.

Any ideas, folks?
