System Stats: (Pic attached)
I've been playing superhex.io for years now and even on my old Mac it never had any issues. I've had this Mac about 2 years without incident, until now. Superhex is a simple line strategy game in which you take over more and more of the map by drawing lines. That's it. Very basic. It could run on a calculator! So it's certainly not an issue with the game somehow have become too complex for my system in the last few weeks.
It is the same problem regardless of browser I use (Brave, Chrome, Safari). It operates normally when I begin a game, but then as I take over more and more of the map, the response time of my 'character' turning becomes slower and slower. This renders the game impossible to continue with any degree of proficiency as turning at the appropriate time is crucial.
So far I have cleared the cache on all browsers, rebooted, tried the different browsers. I play a similar game called wormax.io. The same thing seems to happen there but it's not as pronounced. My speed check indicates I'm receiving consistent speeds above 200mbs, so it's not that.
Any ideas? If so, thanks in advance!!!
