Mac Pro Tower 2012 vs Mac Mini 2014 for iMovie

I’ve a late 2014 Mac Mini i5 with 8GB RAM which is sluggish for iMovie – creating YouTube videos –

I’ve a limited budget so the question is – for iMovie and multitasking photoshop and iMovie – would a quad core Xeon Mac Pro 2012 be faster and more efficient than my Mac mini ?

I want to reset my Mac Mini. So, I booted into Recovery Mode and clicked on Disk Utility but there are two disks, one is “MAC HD” and the second is “MAC HD – DATA” which one do I erase?
