Disconnected Server

When I turn on my iMac the following message keeps popping up.

“There was a problem connecting to the server Basil’s MacBook Pro”

The server may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the Server name or IP Address, check your network connection, and then try again.”

Not sure why my old Macbook which was previously connected to the iMac, would show as a server but I no longer have the MacBook Pro and now I cannot remove the notification that keeps interrupting the operation of my iMac especially for the first 10 minutes or so after I turn on the iMac.  My iMac is up to date with os Catalina 10.15. and I can't see the old Mac server in Finder since I imagine it's not running.  Can anyone help me find a way to fix this. I merely want to remove it as a server.
