Office 365 Error when activating

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering a persistent problem activating my Office 365 on my personal computer, which I was provided as a university student. I'm unable to activate Word and the other programs because of the following error:

An unknown error has occurred. The error code is 0x80004005.

I contacted Microsoft support and even after granting remote access to my computer not even they were able to resolve the issue. They were able to get it running only after the creation of a different User account on my Mac. So it works on one, but not my main User account.

If anyone can offer any ideas and suggestions (that Microsoft Support may have overlooked) it'd be much appreciated.
