Terminal; Post Mojave downgrade, how to 'cd' to Catalina data partition

Having recently downgraded from Catalina to Mojave, I'd like to go in and do some clean up from the new Catalina data partition. But while rsync seems to honour the '\' escaping of spaces in names, it appears Terminal on its own does not;

Horse:/ user$ cd /Volumes/
Horse:Volumes user$ ls -l
total 0
lrwxr-xr-x   1 root  wheel    1  7 Mar 22:18 Macintosh HD -> /
drwxr-xr-x  30 root  wheel  960 30 Jan 09:03 Macintosh HD — Data
drwx------   1 user  staff  330  7 Mar 22:19 home
Horse:Volumes user$ cd Macintosh\ HD\ -\ Data
-bash: cd: Macintosh HD - Data: No such file or directory

How can I get terminal over to the other partition pls?

[EDIT:] I figured out I can get a terminal window open from Finder w. a R-click > Services > …

But Terminal must be able to 'cd' to a mounted volume….? Surely?
