Cannot enter password successfully on ipad while no issues with iphoneX or on my iMac

Cannot enter password successfully on ipad while it's no problem on iphoneX or on my iMac.

ipad 9.7 and ipad mini both will not recognize the password (both recognize my apple e-mail user ID).

Both ipads have updated latest OS. I have turned both off and on. I don't want to lose my current password if at all possible. It works fine on three device: Apple TV, iphone X and my iMac.
