iCloud on my Mac

Can't download an iCloud file – "Isn't enough free space" when there is!

Hi,

So I have an old backup of a windows Parallels file (*.pvm) and on iCloud it shows as 58.44GB in size. I have done a massive clearcut of files from my iMac startup disk and have made 171.37GB of space free (on a 250GB SSD).

When I click on the little cloud icon on the *.pvm file to download it so I can use it, I get an error:

"The item "Windows 8.1.pvm" can't be downloaded because there isn't enough free space."

There's 170+GB Free!

The file is only 58.4GB in size…

And this is the error I get. Annoying.

There is more than 3 times the space! Why can't I download it? I don't wan't to have to nuke the system as there are windows files I would like, I also don't want to pay for a new Windows install (done that enough times in my life).

Help!
