iMac

WiFi not configured

Good morning,

I have a question about my Mac desktop.

If I click on the wifi icon in the top bar, it says: Wifi not configured.

I read some article online about WiFi not active, but it does not show anything like that in Network preferences. Moreover, it does not even show I the list of Networks. Adding it via the plus icon at the bottom does not work either. I can select Wifi but after adding, it does not appear.

Now, I used a cable to get wifi connection. Some websites work, but others don't. With some it connects with some hotspot nearby (seems like it uses Wifi). At work I also have the cross but wifi works fine.

Do you know how to solve this?

Thanks!
