I received this Ipad from National Bank of Canada as promotion gift item back in 2014-2015, The bank sent me this brand new Ipad after open an investment account.
I changed my Icloud email and deleted the old apple account forgot to double check that this ipad was still locked in the old apple account (which has been deleted) now I am unable to re set this Ipad because it was in activation lock to an apple id that is no longer exist. Chatted with apple service, I am told that my only option is to have a special team at apple to remove the activation lock. However, I need to show them a receipt, the issue is as I mention the Ipad came from National bank of Canada, it has the bank's name and logo imprinted on the back, but I don't remember if they ever sent me an order receipt.
Unable to product a receipt therefore I have no option and don't know what to do with this Ipad, this Ipad is like new condition, working like brand new except the icloud locked issue, it's a big waste to dispose it. Is there any other way I can re set this ipad?
