How to create a music lineup?

Is there a way that I can create a music lineup without having it automatically fill in?

for example, when I click a singular song and look at the lineup it is filled with shuffled songs. If I want to add a song I have to hold and click play next. However if I want to play a song after that song I cannot click play later, as that just adds it to the bottom of the shuffled lineup. Is there a way so that I can click one song, and have no lineup created until I make it? This is really helpful for what I would call a dynamic shower playlist depending on how I’m feeling for the day.
