I've been struggling for a few weeks now with downloading anything large, because I'm constantly told I don't have the space even though this is a brand new computer and I've barely put anything on it. I've been trying to clean it up the best I can but I still have so much room taken up by the OS. However, when I go into About this Mac and look up what I have available, it gives me a whole lot more space. I'm just very confused about a lot of this. How much space do I actually have available? Why does the Macintosh HD-Data drive take up so much space? How do I purge what they're telling me is purgeable? I'm including a photo so hopefully someone can explain this to me. I hope I didn't just spend all this money on a computer whose OS is going to end up using all the space.
