iMac Pro

After using Quicklook "The volume can't be ejected because it's currently in use"

Running Catalina 10.15.3 on my iMac Pro (2017)

Anytime I use quicklook on files in an external hard drive and go to eject it I get a "The volume can't be ejected because it's currently in use" message. Closing all the apps doesn't work – my only options are restarting the computer and ejecting or force ejecting.

How do I stop quicklook from trigger an "in use" command on my files. Or how do I "close" (for lack of a better term) quicklook.

Thanks Apple Fam

Davy
