Test won't work on my MacBook Pro

I'm trying to run Apple Hardware Test on my iMac (Late 2012) by pressing D right after turning on the Mac, but nothing happens. (Unless you have to hold it for more than 10 minutes…!)

I tried the same thing pressing "Option + D" and I get an error message on black screen: Error: 0x800000etc, Cannot Load "EFI/Drivers/TestSupport.efi"
