I have a mid-2010 iMac, I don't have/use any other device, so I don't use iCloud and I don't have Siri enabled either.

Today, I updated to Sierra and in the App Updates, it shows that Pages, Numbers, Keynote are now "3 Incompatible Updates".

So far, it seems I *can* get into all my Pages docs, so I'm not too worried but am curious if I'm interpreting this correctly. In El Capitan, it just told me there were more recent updates to these 3 apps and I knew to ignore that because my OS wasn't able to get those upgrades.

So, is this the same thing? Am I correct to assume that these are simply updates for the most recent

MacOS which is not Sierra, so they cannot be upgraded any further?

Thanks for your responses!
