Mac Pro

audio interfaces

Back in 2004 I acquired a Griffin Technology (now Incipio) Powerwave. This gadget allowed me to connect my cassette deck or turntable to my Mac G5 and then my Mac Pro to transfer through a USB port audio to them. It also provided amplification for a set of really good external speakers. A static electricity incident last week. A brief incident with static last week ended that. I am surprised that there is longer any device available with the same functionality. Perhaps who ever reads this knows more than I do and can make some suggestions.

It would really be great if Apple could create something to take the place with the same functions.
