Apple will not publish games in the Chinese App Store without government permission
Apple sent a letter to Chinese developers saying that they should get permission from the government to publish the game on the App Store.

This applies to all paid games and free games with in-app purchases.

In accordance with Chinese law, games must be approved by the PRC General Press and Publishing House. Let us know this number before June 30, 2020 for any paid games or games that offer in-app purchases that you intend to distribute in mainland China.

From an Apple Letter

Apple does not say that will be with games that do not get permission. Most likely, the company will remove them from the App Store, because it obeys the laws of China.

The PRC General State Directorate of Press and Publishing was established in 2018. One of his tasks is to issue permits for the sale of games in China. [Cult of Mac]
