Apple abandons iPhone 11 in India
Apple was unable to launch iPhone 11 in India, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Initially, Apple planned to release iPhone 11 only in India. It would be the first iPhone that was never made in China.

But plans had to be changed. According to a person familiar with this issue, Apple did not find a sufficient number of skilled workers in India, so the production of iPhone 11 had to be left in China.

Apple produces some iPhones in India, including iPhone XR, but is limited in small batches. Basically, all smartphones manufactured in India are sold domestically.
